I purchased 4 of these Yokohama AS 430 tires from Town Fair Tire about 4 years ago. I have put on 30,000 miles since and it looks to me like the tread has worn quite evenly. I have rotated them as recommended a very important aspect of tire care. Without doing that tires wear very unevenly. Supposedly with proper care these tires are said to be able to last in the area of 70,000 miles. They have a great ride and my experience in the rain and snow has been positive. In January 2005 I purchased a set of Cooper Lifeliner tires for my Pontiac Grand Am. My car had 90,000 miles on it's original tires so it was past due for new tires. I chose Cooper because they make a quality product and I was able to use a family member's employee discount. The Lifeliner is a great all season tire with a high treadwear rating, so it was perfect for my long distance commuter car.
